The New York State Common Retirement Fund, Albany, has invested $300 million in Artemis Real Estate Partners, Pensions & Investments reports. The contribution was made for an emerging manager-of-managers real estate separate account.
The capital will be committed with real estate joint venture operators that have less than $1 billion of equity capital under management. The $147 billion retirement system has a sum of $600 million of its $7.3 billion real estate portfolio contributed to emerging managers.
