The president and Chairman of the board of RGP Holdings, Raymond Perelman and his wife, Ruth Perelman, have invested $225 million in the University of Pennsylvania. The investment will be used to create a permanent endowment fund for the school of medicine.
The endowment will provide financial aid to medical school students, recruit physicians and scientists and support innovative research. The school of medicine will also be renamed as the Raymond and Ruth Perelman School of Medicine.
