Indonesia’s state-owned PT Pertamina (Persero) is seeking an amendment on its $400 million credit facility, Reuters reports. The initial three-year loan matures in 2012 and the borrower is now seeking a five-year tenor from the amendment effective date.
Citi served as the coordinator in the transaction. ANZ, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, BNP Paribas, CIMB Bank, HSBC, Natixis, OCBC, including eight other banks participated in the deal. The 2009 loan was increased from an initial target of $300 million after being oversubscribed more than two times.
