Gar Wood Securities has appointed John McCorvey as senior vice president of its global prime brokerage business unit. In his new role at the Chicago-based firm, he will lead the expansion of the firm’s capital introduction service.
McCorvey was formerly at Direct Access Partners, where he was working as senior advisor of global prime services. Prior to that, he was at MadisonGrey as senior vice president.
