Guildford-based manager of U.K. and offshore funds Premier Asset Management (AM) has hired Jacob Robbins to lead-manage its £12 million Premier Global Alpha Growth fund, Financial Times reports. Effective November 8, he will work with CIO Mike Jennings, who runs the Premier Global Strategic Assets fund.
Robbins joins Premier from independent provider of active investment products and services Investec Asset Management, where he ran the £271 million Global Dynamic Equity portfolio. Ian Vose has replaced him at Investec as manager of the fund.
