French insurer AXA is considering selling Bluefin Advisory Services, its London-based employee benefits adviser, The Wall Street Journal reports. The insurer has hired Fenchurch Advisory Partners to advise it on the move.
As part of the sale, AXA also shed its discretionary investment management unit as well, adds Citywire. Bluefin’s insurance broking business will not be sold, being a separate business and a fundamental part of AXA U.K.'s strategy.
