Google has acquired video website Next New Networks for an undisclosed amount, The Wall Street Journal reports. The search giant is expected to pay tens of millions of dollars for the New York-based Internet television company. The Next New Networks staff will join a new team that will work with YouTube partners. Tom Pickett, director of global content operations of the new team, said the aim is to help more content partners make more money through YouTube.
