Mondrian Investment Partners is selling a $500 million term loan to acquire an equity stake.

Mondrian Investment Partners is selling a $500 million term loan to acquire an equity stake, Bloomberg reports. The London-based money manager has appointed Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank as lead arrangers for the transaction.

The firm intends to use the proceeds of the seven-year term loan sale to buy the remaining 27.5% equity stake held by private equity firm Hellman & Friedman. Lenders on the transaction will get one year of 101 soft-call protection.
