Traiana and LCH.Clearnet have partnered to form a STP solution for the clearing of equity trades related to over-the-counter (OTC) CFD equity swaps. The merged service will provide Traiana Harmony-connected executing brokers and equity swap counterparties with real-time connectivity to LCH.Clearnet’s equity clearing service.
The service will provide greater automation and reduced risk to CFD market participants. Through the integration, the equity trades that were originally settled bilaterally between brokers and swaps counterparties can now be submitted to LCH.Clearnet to remove counterparty risk.
