AlertEnterprise has raised $19 million in a venture capital funding round.

AlertEnterprise has raised $19 million in a venture capital funding round. The investment round was led by Menlo Park-based Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and existing investor Opus Capital. Fremont-based startup Farms Investors also took part in the fundraising process.

Kleiner Perkins managing partner Ray Lane is likely to join the company’s board of directors. The Fremont-based company, which was founded in 2007, specializes in security convergence software.
