Turquoise Derivatives, the London Stock Exchange’s equity derivatives platform, is set to go live in May, Financial Times reports. U.K.’s Ffastfill will provide pre-trade risk management and clearing tools and will begin when the platform’s technology is upgraded on May 16. The new platform will offer trading in pan-European single name and index futures and options shortly after the technology switch and the products will be cleared via LCH.Clearnet. Companies on Ffastfill’s Internet-based network, without being members of either the LSE or Turquoise, will also have access to the new derivatives platform using the membership of another broker.
