Lakshmi Mittal is planning to acquire a 35% stake in Kazakhstan’s oil services company, KazStroyService, The Telegraph reports. Mittal is expected to pay about $300 million for the stake.
Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs previously held a 5% and 2.5% stake, respectively, in the company, which they sold in 2010. KazStroyService, which is controlled by Timur Kulibayev, was valued at about $1 billion.
