UDR is planning to acquire a Manhattan apartment building from Moinian Group, The Wall Street Journal reports. The publicly traded U.S. apartments owner will pay a total of around $325 million for the acquisition. The 500-unit building was the headquarters of JP Morgan prior to being converted into residential space in 2008. The transaction is expected to close by the end of this month.
