European authorities are keeping a close eye on regulations being developed for the fx market in the U.S. due July 1 to avoid arbitrage issues between the two regions. While regulators in both European and the U.S. have been working together to sidestep such issues, differences are emerging that could have significant impact in both areas, according to James Kemp at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe.
