Adam Bowe is joining Pacific Investment Management Co.’s (Pimco) Australian unit as senior vice president for fixed-income (FI) portfolio management and trading, Bloomberg reports. He will be responsible for trading of government bonds, corporate debt, swaps and options, as well as handling Australian dollar and global portfolios.
Based in Sydney, Bowe will report to Rob Mead, head of portfolio management, adds Financial Standard. Most recently, Bowe was with Tudor Investment Corp. in global macroeconomic research and trading. He was previously director of fixed-income portfolio management at UBS Global Asset Management.
