Global asset management company Schroders has soft-closed the Schroders European Alpha Plus fund, FundWeb reports. The £674.7 million vehicle is managed by Leon Howard-Spink. The fund has not been actively marketed for some time, with more marketing focus on other European products of the company.
The fund invests across the market-cap spectrum, with nearly 75 percent in large-caps and 20 percent in midcaps as of September 30. The scheme was rolled out in October 2003 and has produced returns of 107.5 percent since then relative to the 70.5 percent recorded by the benchmark FTSE Europe ex U.K. index.
