U.S. broadband and telecommunications company, Windstream, is offering notes worth nearly $1.1 billion.

U.S. broadband and telecommunications company, Windstream, is offering notes worth nearly $1.1 billion. The notes, which carry a coupon rate of 8.62%, will mature in 2016.

The size of the transaction has been increased from an initially planned $600 million. Citigroup Global Markets and Wells Fargo Securities are serving as the dealer managers on the sale.
