Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has named Scott Barton as CEO of the global transaction services (GTS) unit, Finextra reports. Barton will work under Chris Sullivan, CEO of the corporate banking division.
Barton will work with Brian Stevenson, Chairman of GTS. Prior to this, Barton was CEO of the RBS large corporate division. Additionally, Richard Hemsley will be named as the GTS COO, reporting to Barton.
