Ignis is seeking to unveil a strategic bond fund, which is likely to be a concentrated long-only portfolio of around 30 holdings, Investment Week reports. The product, which is at the design stage, will focus primarily on the U.K., with Europe and emerging markets exposure also under consideration. The portfolio would leverage off the research of the £280 million Corporate Bond fund, with conviction positions in the new fund likely to be the largest holdings in the existing product. The new fund will be managed by head of credit portfolio management, Chris Bowie.
