Dalton Strategic Partnership (DSP) has soft-closed its European absolute return portfolio, Financial Times reports. DSP shut the Melchior Selected Trust European Absolute Return fund after it raised $500 million.
Following the closure, the long/short portfolio will only take the subscription from its existing investors. The fund, managed by Magnus Spence, was launched in February 2010 and has gained 11.4% since.
