The Argentine government has been granted a $120 million loan by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), The Wall Street Journal reports. The loan will help the government finance the construction or repair of power transmission or distribution lines in 18 provinces by 2015. The 25-year loan extended by the IDB has a 3.5 year grace period. Argentina’s government will invest an equal amount in related investments, with Andean Finance funding $84 million of it.
