Jupiter European Absolute Return fund co-manager Cedric de Fonclare will not be managing it any more, Citywire reports. De Fonclare stepped back subsequent to shareholder approval for merging the Luxembourg-domiciled fund with the offshore Jupiter Europa hedge fund. He will continue overseeing four different funds across the European and European, excluding the U.K. equities market.
The new vehicle, which will employ the investment policy and charging structure of the original hedge fund, will bear the Jupiter Europa name and function within the Ucits framework. Co-manager of the absolute-return fund Stuart Pearson, assisted by Michael Buhl-Nielsen, will lead the management of the merged fund.
