JonesTrading Institutional Services has appointed Jack Garceau as chief technology officer, FINalternatives reports. In the newly created role, Garceau will build and implement a diverse range of programs and help develop greater efficiencies in client relationships, adds Finextra.
Garceau has joined the brokerage firm from the Fidessa group, where he was business development head. Previously, Garceau has also worked with Bloomberg, Oppenheimer Funds, Chicago Corp. and SunGard.
