Fremont-based company GreenVolts has raised $39 million in venture capital funding, Bloomberg reports. The financing includes $22.4 million secured in December from Oak Investment Partners and other existing and new investors.
The concentrating photovoltaic technology developer will use the funds to build equipment for projects. The company is also developing a Byron, California, project for utility Pacific Gas & Electric.
