Henderson Global Investors has appointed Ollie Beckett as manager of the £285.1 million TR European Growth Trust (TREG). The small-cap specialist will replace head of pan-European equities and previous fund manager, Stephen Peak. Simon Savill will continue to serve as assistant fund manager.
Peak will now be responsible for specialist long-only and hedge fund clients and will continue to manage the £472.4 million U.K. Alpha fund, adds Financial Times. Beckett, who joined the TREG team in 2010, is presently manager of the £421 million Henderson Horizon Pan-European Smaller Companies Fund.
