BM&FBovespa is planning to roll out a bond trading platform by mid-2012, Business Week reports. The Brazilian bourse is in talks with Mila, a platform which combines trading in stocks from Colombia, Chile and Peru, to help them develop the new platform. BM&FBovespa is also looking to speed up processing capabilities as it seeks to promote high-frequency trading for derivatives and stocks. The aims at the speed moving to 1.1 millisecond by the middle of next year from 15 milliseconds currently.
