Idex, the commodity derivatives segment of Borsa Italiana, has selected the GlobalVision Portal of Trayport, a provider of energy trading solutions to traders, brokers and exchanges worldwide. Any company with Trayport’s Trading Gateway Software and Idex membership will now be able to connect directly and seamlessly to the entire suite of products available on Idex, which uses the Sola exchange trading system.
Trayport’s Trading Gateway is used as a primary tool for accessing commodity markets by the companies. As GlobalVision Portal will be hosted by Idex, the need for Idex members to deploy additional software will end. GlobalVision Portal offers an interface from Trading Gateway that will be optimized for integration with Sola’s matching engine.
