Citadel has appointed Geoff Coley as head of fixed income, Bloomberg reports. Most recently, Coley was working as CEO with Chapdelaine, from where Citadel plans to add about 30 employees from the broker dealer’s redundant credit unit.
Most of Chapdelaine Credit Partners’ traders, sales staff and analysts will join the firm, including founding partners Andrew Rochat and Jon Walker and Scott Shiffman, head of desk analysts. Coley will be based in New York as head of fixed income at Citadel’s securities unit overseeing about 120 people.
