Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) has appointed Gregory Fleming as president of the retail brokerage, Financial Times reports. Fleming has succeeded Charles Johnston, president of global wealth management at MSIM.
Johnston has been appointed as vice chairman of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney until he retires at the end of 2011. Jack DiMaio, head of interest rate, credit and currency trading, will leave the firm. Ken deRegt, the firm’s chief risk officer, will become global head of fixed-income sales and trading, excluding commodities. Click here for the story from Financial Times.
