UBS has appointed Riyad Shahjahan as managing director in mergers and acquisitions, Reuters reports. In his new role, the former JPMorgan Chase banker will be responsible for focusing on the bank’s technology clients. Shahjahan will be reporting to Americas head of M&A, Cary Kochman. UBS had hired Mark Zanoli of JP Morgan as technology investment banking head for the Americas in July 2010.
