Aberdeen Asset Management Asia is seeking to build a fixed-income research team in Malaysia, Reuters reports. The firm has appointed Suhaila Suboh as Asia fixed income strategist.

Suboh has previously worked at Malaysia’s Securities Commission, Bank Negara and Rothschild. Aberdeen will also appoint another two people for the team to manage credit and macroeconomic research.
