Kern County Employees’ Retirement Association (KCERA) has selected Wurts & Associates as its new investment consultant, Pensions & Investments reports. Wurts will replace current advisor Wilshire Associates, whose agreement expires on June 30, 2011.
Meketa Investment Group, NEPC and Pension Consulting Alliance were the other finalists. Wilshire was also allowed to rebid. The California-based fund had issued a request for proposal for the same in March.
