LGT Capital Management has opened its first distribution division in Asia, Asian Investor reports. The firm has appointed Marcel de Bruijckere as head of Asian distribution to target institutional investors and wholesale clients.
Previously, de Bruijckere was with Fortis Investments and ABN Amro Asset Management. He is looking to build a team, with one member based in Hong Kong and focusing on Greater China and the other at a mid-level position looking at Southeast Asia out of Singapore.
