The Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System (IPERS) is looking for managers to run a total of $400 million in high-yield fixed income, Pensions & Investments reports. The Des Moines-based system has also issued a request for proposal (RFP) for the same.
The $22.5 billion system’s officials may take the final decision by December 1 and could appoint one or more managers. The system’s investment consultant Wilshire Associates is assisting in the searching process.
