Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, has allocated up to $195 million to private equity and real estate funds, Pensions & Investments reports. The system assigned up to $70 million to a closed-end real estate fund, Lubert-Adler Real Estate Fund VI-B, and up to $50 million each in Highclere International Investors Smid Fund and Harding Loevner Small Companies strategy. The $10.2 billion system also allocated up to $25 million in SP5 Wood Partners Co-Investment Venture 2, managed by CB Richard Ellis Investors. The system had 9.2% of total assets in private equity and 8.8% in real estate, as of Dec. 31, 2010.
