MSSB Appoints Four Advisers

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney appointed four financial advisers, who handled a total $533 million in client assets.

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (MSSB) appointed four financial advisers, who handled a total $533 million in client assets, The Wall Street Journal reports. Formerly with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Thomas Anderson and Jon Bancks joined Morgan Stanley’s Cedar Rapids to yield $2.5 million in fees and commissions. The team had $274 million in assets under management.

MSSB also appointed Lawrence Gift and Hugh Hamilton from RBC Capital Markets. The team works under Houston-Galleria complex manager Matt Kabot and had roughly $1.2 million in annual production and managed $259 million in client assets.
