Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirement System’ executive director Dan Weiss is stepping down from his current position.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirement System’ executive director Dan Weiss is stepping down from his current position, Pensions & Investments reports. Mark Atkeson, facility manager for the Ohio Department of Public Safety, will work on an interim basis after Weiss leaves on December 29.

Former CFO at the $692 million Columbus-based system became executive director in February 2010. Meanwhile, the system dismissed the U.S. investment management firm Loomis Sayles & Co., which managed $8 million in active domestic smidcap equities.
