ISE Upgrades Trading System

U.S. options exchange operator International Securities Exchange has modified its trading system based on German exchange Deutsche Boerse Group’s Optimise trading architecture.

U.S. options exchange operator International Securities Exchange (ISE) has modified its trading system based on German exchange Deutsche Boerse Group‘s Optimise trading architecture. Technology Release 1.6 offers incremental enhancements to the trading system’s latency profile with a focus to boost median latency and latency tail.

The compressed release cycle of Optimise enables more flexibility to bring performance improvements and new functionality while reducing extra work for ISE’s member firms due to its backward compatibility. The new release fine-tunes the prevailing latency profile of the new system and prepares ISE for Release 2.0 in mid-December.
