Piper Private Equity has raised £107 million for its next private equity fund, Financial Times reports. The London-based private equity group, which seeks to acquire fast-growing consumer brands, raised nearly twice the size of the firm’s previous vehicle.
Carphone Warehouse’s founder Charles Dunstone and Canada’s Wittington Investments are among investors in the fund. The firm invests in retail, leisure, consumer products and services sectors with revenues between £5 million and £50 million.
