RBC Capital Markets has appointed Johnny Vo and James Eves to its European financial institutions group (FIG), Financial News reports. Vo has joined the investment banking arm of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) as a managing director and will be concentrating on the European insurance sector. Most recently, Vo worked as co-head of European insurance equity research at Goldman Sachs.
James Eves, former head of financial institutions equity capital markets at global financial services firm UBS, has also joined as managing director. The duo will be working under Robin Mackie and Mike Carter, both of whom jointly head the European financial institutions group.
