BlackRock has selected Paul Gilbody as head of its defined contribution team, Financial News reports. He is taking over the responsibilities from Michael Lee, who joined Scottish Widows Investment Partnership as head of consultant relationships.
Gilbody is joining BlackRock from National Employment Savings Trust (NEST), where he was serving as director of market engagement. BlackRock is looking to double the headcount of its defined contribution team.
