BlackRock has appointed Terrence Keeley as a managing director and head of its official institutions group. Based in New York, he will work jointly under Robert Fairbairn, senior managing director and global client group head and Lee Kempler, managing director and executive director of BlackRock Investment Institute.
In the newly created role, Keeley will manage the asset management firm’s relationships and services to clients, such as central banks, sovereign wealth funds and supra-nationals. He will also assist in the designing and execution of the investment institute. Prior to this, he served at Sovereign Trends as senior managing principal.
