BM&FBovespa will start offering depositary receipts in Nike, Coca-Cola, Chevron and seven other U.S. companies, Financial Times reports. The move by the Brazilian exchange is designed to attract more investors.
The São Paulo-based bourse seeks to offer about 100 unsponsored Brazilian depositary receipts (BDRs), including in European companies. Separately, Itaú-Unibanco will also release unsponsored BDRs n 10 U.S. companies.
