ETF Trades On SSE Up 68% In August

ETF trading on the Six Swiss Exchange increased in August because of the level of market volatility.

ETF trading on the Six Swiss Exchange (SSE) increased in August because of the level of market volatility, IFA Online reports. The number of ETF trades reached 125,862, an increase of 68 percent compared to July.

ETF turnover on the SSE rose by about 90 percent in August, taking the total turnover to €12.3 billion. The structured products and warrants sector on the SSE also increased 93.5 percent, but the turnover of €10.41 billion was still lower than that of ETFs.
