PGNiG Eyes $1B Vattenfall Polish Assets

Polish gas company, Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo is planning to place an offer for Vattenfall’s Warsaw heat and power assets.

Polish gas company, Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG), is planning to place an offer for Vattenfall’s Warsaw heat and power assets, Bloomberg reports. PGNiG values the Swedish power company’s assets at $978 million to $1.12 billion. The Warsaw-based company also seeks to acquire Warsaw’s heating network operator, SPEC, for $261 million to $352.7 million. PGNiG has also showed interest in a $105 million to $141 million purchase of hydropower plant ZEW Nidzica.
