PIMCO has added three portfolio managers to its emerging market fixed income team, CPI Financial reports. Based in Munich, Francesc Balcells will manage investment strategies, local bonds and currency initiatives. He previously served as head of emerging markets at Rogge Global Partners. It has also hired Isaac Meng as senior vice president and Javier Romo as vice president. Based in Hong-Kong, Meng will supervise macroeconomic and financial analysis of China. Romo will work from Newport Beach for relative value analysis, trading and portfolio strategy for Latin American sovereign credit and forex.
