Yorkshire Building Society will acquire smaller mutual lender, Norwich & Peterborough (N&P), Financial Times reports. The enlarged society will have £34 billion in combined assets. Yorkshire’s head office in Bradford will remain as the headquarters of the combined group. N&P will remain a separate brand within the Yorkshire group. Lexicon Partners and Allen & Overy were appointed to advise Yorkshire, while Fenchurch Advisory and Addleshaw Goddard advised N&P.
