Morgan Stanley has teamed up with London-based Algebris Investments to roll out a long/short equity fund, Hedge Funds Review reports. The Ucits III offering is being launched under Morgan Stanley’s Ucits Irish umbrella, FundLogic Alternatives.
The MS Algebris Global Financials Ucits fund will be managed by Davide Serra and Eric Halet, founding partners of Algebris. It will be audited by Ernst & Young, while Northern Trust Fund Administration Services (Ireland) will serve as administrator and Northern Trust Fiduciary Services (Ireland) as custodian.
