NYSE Sees ETFs Pushing Market Growth

The New York Stock Exchange is expecting active ETFs to accelerate growth in the U.S. market.

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is expecting active ETFs to accelerate growth in the U.S. market, IFA Online reports. Potential new issuers, such as AllianceBernstein, Dreyfus Corp. and State Street, are in the process of rolling out active ETFs.

Laura Morrison, vice president, global index and exchange-traded products at NYSE, said there are only 41 transparent active ETFs listed on the exchange as of now. BlackRock recently filed for rolling out a non-transparent actively managed ETF.
