Ignis Asset Management has hired Claude Chene as its new global head of distribution, Financial Times reports. He will replace sales and marketing director Jonathan Polin , who left the firm in May.

Chene will be active in his new role from October and also be a member of the board, adds Citywire . He is joining the asset management firm from the European arm of AllianceBernstein, where he was the chief executive of AllianceBernstein’s European division since 2009.
